Teflon is normally unaffected by chemical environments. The only chemicals known to affect all Teflon Industrial coatings are molten alkali metals and highly reactive fluorinating agents, making it a suitable coating for most chemical applications.
For these applications we specify either Tefzel ETFE Teflon, or PFA Teflon, as they are proven performers in these harsh environments.
